Hollywood Archetypes

I am sorry that I have made a personal review by posting on a new blog as I planned on pasting pictures for my post entry. You could comment about my post in the previous blog..

(//don't forget to put a remark that your post was a reply to this blog. thank you!)

Reason that I did not use Stereotypes terminology as it is not a popular belief to most people. I have learned about Archetypes from other academic subject - 'Content Innovation for Animation' and I would like to apply it for my analysis of Hollywood movies.

Hollywood - as we all knew will always portrays American people as a Hero/Main Character. Those movies will always be marketed easily in most Third World Countries. It is because they have all the means into doing so. People who were against them regardless in history or what seems to be intervening their plans will without doubt be villains/notorious community.

These was not happened just during American era but was applied long during Roman Empire! They regarded anyone besides them as a Barbarian and thus wars were plotted to conquer and 'civilized' them! (Below)

This is a movie about a sudden attack by Japanese army towards their biggest army quarters -Pearl Harbour (Below)

Ironically the movie only showed how Japanese destroyed and killed innocent american lives but they did not revealed their counter attack by dropping bombs which kills millions Japanese and how the radiation has affected the people surroundings.

In an upcoming movie - Captain America, The First Avenger.
we will be introduced with the American patriot (Below) which suit was inspired from the American flag.

His biggest nemesis are the German's Nazi (Which they had a duel during the actual World War II)

Captain America (Above)was the superhero created in 1940s during WWII to boost the American spirits through comics media.

Besides that, Hollywood movies are made to show off their advancement in technologies

(Above) blueprint of Ironman. Weapons of Stark Industries were also said to be exported to the Middle East during an event at the first Iroman movie.

American army's parachute

Parachute scenes in Transformers 3 (sorry i did't get the actual flying fox with parachute picture)

and lastly, Batman's batmobile are said to be a vehicle of American army as stated in the movie - Batman Begins.
