Unique Signboard

I have posted a reflective comments on my friend's post previously based on global issues, so I intended to turn my attention to local observation. It was my trip to Kampung Baru that I found some interesting information to share with all of you!

Media utilised in a form of a Signboard at a restaurant.

The Signboard zoom in (up close).

Based on my photo captured, I later made a survey asking my friends what crossed their minds when they see the symbol in my finding(without revealing the caption below the symbol). Most of them are confused with appearance of two adults and a children in that symbol and assumed that the signage is about parents to be cautious of their child or vice verse. My inference to this symbol analysis is that it is not widely utilised around Malaysia and it must have been derived from environment surrounds it!

Observation around the village leads to several clue:-

1) The village is flooded with variety of restaurants which attracts customer from local and foreigners.

2)There is a 'Sekolah Kanak-kanak Pekak' (School for deaf) located not far from those restaurants.

3) There are also a lot of national school emplace rooms and facilities for disabled people and other non-government firms which contributed to this constitution.

(Sorry I do not have a resource as a evidence to support these findings)

Based on the signboard (media) and environmental analysis (culture), I can strongly make a statement that charity has been a massive activity at Kampung Baru and the sign-age is to warn them not to interrupt the customer in that particular restaurant.
The sign-age may also leads to other implication which is foreigners who visited that place may have a different impression about our nation when they see that..
